The playfulness of an 8 month old is amazing. Of course, put a cute hat on them and fuzzy booties and how can you go wrong....adorable.
I am crazy about photographing babies. After 23 years of photographing actors, it's a great new experience. However, there are some similarities. I suppose to be a great actor one must be in touch with their "inner baby". Babies are truly in the moment and it's like Sandy Meiser's acting technique of "moment to moment".
When I create a baby portrait, it puts me totally in the m0ment. I have to work very fast, stay in my joy and be very patient. Babies feel everything. They express in the most primal way. They are pure light energy....
